Sketches in ink – 6-13
I am cheating. I am not going to sketch the last few days today. I fly back home to Portugal tomorrow. This is my last night in Brisbane with my parents, my sister and her family. My holiday is almost over.
My sister, the artist and art teacher for many years, gave me a quick lesson in perspective. Then I drew a coffee mug, which I tore up my mistake, and redrew this sofa, the improved version after my lesson.
It seemed that I had all the time in the world to do it. That was the best part.
Possibly unrelated, except that it involved colour, I now have an auburn tint in my hair. That’s a first. There was much giggling over my ineptitude as regards such matters. Fortunately, my sister has talents in this area, too.
