Today started out well. It started out early, when it was cool enough not to perspire. I purchased a book as a PDF for $20.00, and only have about 341 pages to go. Someone from Canada who read my blog suggested I might be interested. Smart woman of discernment!
I did some work, some laundry, some more work, some watering of the garden, some wimping out for about an hour to cup my sore throat in my hands and moan a bit. There was lunch, but I cannot remember if it was before or after the laundry. Who cares?
After taking this photo showing enormous pumpkin leaves (you cannot tell, but take my word for it, they are close to 30 cm in diameter) growing amidst the couve and mint plants in flower.
As if that was not enough excitement of someone feeling poorly, I finally got to watch Hannah Gadsby’s Nanette tonight and tweeted her a thank you. Ain’t modern technology grand? I think that is enough new information for one day.
Oh, and I discovered today that the young woman who works in the coffee shop around the corner from me is passionately interested in Algarvian history; I already knew that she is an insatiable collector of interesting, partially related facts on all manner of other things besides.
