It is with a sense of enormous privilege that I am able to derive the benefit of another translator’s wisdom gleaned from slightly more years’ experience than I have in my own bag of goodies. What is more, I was able to obtain permission to quote the perspicacious and precise woman immediately that my mind had processed the glorious thing she said, which was not in the least debased for having seen the light of day in a partially lighthearted thread on a well-known social media platform.
