A good day’s work always makes me extremely happy, and that is what I had today. With one urgent assignment thrown into the mix, I did not even have time to go out and buy another pack of cigarettes, and that will make quite a few other people happy. I am grateful for that little vapour stick my cousin gave me last year, although with all that adrenalin pumping through my system, there was no real need for it.
The day soon passed, and before I knew it, it was time for me to be a few minutes late for choir practice. We are a motley bunch indeed, but good humour within the group and the nice sounds we seem to be capable of by the time we reach the end of the practice lift the spirits enormously. On that high note, I look forward to tomorrow.
In closing, I shall leave you with a picture of the carpet most choir members have learnt to stop looking at when singing.
